Amir Najian

Amir Najian leads agentic AI platform development efforts at Google X, where he works on building AI systems that connect advanced machine intelligence with real-world operational environments. He brings deep experience across AI infrastructure, enterprise AI architecture, LLM systems, agentic workflows, knowledge graphs, RAG, evaluation frameworks, and governance-aware AI deployment.

Amir has built and led AI/ML platforms for regulated and enterprise settings, with a focus on systems that are reliable, explainable, auditable, and production-ready. Earlier in his career, he helped build an AI startup in the EHS compliance space that was later acquired, giving him direct experience at the intersection of domain expertise, enterprise sales, and applied AI product development.

As Technology Advisor to Torvia, Amir supports the company on AI architecture, agent evaluation, enterprise readiness, governance, and product strategy as Torvia builds the assurance infrastructure layer for modern internal audit and risk teams. Amir has a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Tehran and a PhD in GeoSpatial Information Sciences from the University of Texas.
